About My Clients

I am LGBTQ+ affirming, multicultural in my approach, and celebrate diversity in my therapy office. I work with teens 16 and up, adults, and couples. My speciality is men's mental health especially regarding religious trauma. My clients are often working through faith transitions within high-control religions, relationship changes, and learning more about themselves, including their strengths and weaknesses.

My Background and Approach

I view issues in therapy through a lens of trauma. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, and am currently learning IFS approaches and modalities. I am an eclectic and person-centered therapist and often integrate my approach based on the client's needs. There is no "one size fits all" for the beautiful iniquities of each client. I offer a non-judgmental space to allow clients the ability to explore themselves freely and their deepest experiences that have shaped their life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a space for authenticity, healing, and belonging. Raised in the Mormon church, I’ve personally experienced the challenges of faith transitions and the lasting impact of religious trauma. This journey fuels my passion for helping others heal from spiritual or high-demand religious experiences while reconnecting with their authentic selves. I’m deeply committed to social justice, equality, and inclusion as a therapist, mother, and individual. I hold a strong passion for men’s mental health and strive to challenge the societal norms that have silenced men’s emotional expression. My goal is to create a space where all parts of you—faith, doubt, identity, and emotion—are welcome. My lived experience and focus areas include faith transitions, religious trauma, divorce, childbirth trauma, body image, disordered eating, LGBTQ+ concerns, and identity development.
