About My Clients
Does your mind race with worries, replay conversations, or make decisions feel overwhelming? Anxiety and overthinking can leave you stuck, exhausted, and second-guessing yourself. Maybe social situations feel draining, or you avoid things out of fear of failure. You don’t have to stay stuck in these patterns. Together, we’ll build skills to quiet self-doubt, manage stress, and help you feel more confident and in control of your life.
My Background and Approach
I use a blend of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help you break unhelpful patterns and build healthier ways of thinking, coping, and responding. CBT helps challenge negative thoughts and behaviors, while DBT provides tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and improving relationships. Mindfulness helps you stay present and reduce stress by shifting how you relate to your thoughts and emotions. If sleep is a struggle, I also use CBT-I, a structured approach to treating insomnia by addressing habits and thoughts that interfere with rest. My approach is collaborative and practical—we’ll focus on strategies that help you feel more in control, whether it’s managing anxiety, improving sleep, or handling life’s transitions. Therapy with me isn’t just about talking; it’s about learning and applying skills that create real, lasting change in your daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that change is possible for everyone, no matter how long you’ve felt stuck. The brain is adaptable, and just as we learn unhelpful ways of coping, we can unlearn them and replace them with healthier, more effective strategies. I also believe that therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported—without judgment. My background, growing up in a home that served as an emergency foster home, shaped my deep understanding of resilience and the importance of support systems. Outside of therapy, I love reading (especially fantasy, romance, and thrillers) and hanging out with my dog, Lucy. If you’re ready to start making changes, let’s connect. You don’t have to do this alone.
