About My Clients
I work best with children and adolescents facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the unique challenges of military life. My ideal clients seek more than just symptom management; they want to build resilience, coping skills, and confidence through holistic, root-cause-focused care. Families who desire an integrative approach combining mental health support with nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, and family-centered care are a great fit.
My Background and Approach
I am an APRN and board-certified PMHNP with eight years of experience specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. My approach blends traditional mental health support with holistic treatments, such as nutrition coaching, lifestyle changes, and minimal medication use. I specialize in treating anxiety, ADHD, depression, and trauma. As a mother, Army Reserve member, and military wife, I am uniquely positioned to understand and support military families. My approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Christian counseling, and mindfulness to address root causes, strengthen resilience, and empower my young clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a holistic, integrative approach to mental health that addresses the whole child rather than just symptoms. My approach emphasizes strengthening coping skills and focusing on the root causes of mental health challenges. With personal experience in anxiety and ADHD, I deeply understand the unique challenges families face. As a mother and military wife, I especially value supporting military families in their unique journeys. I focus on cultivating resilience, combining mental and physical wellness, and helping children and adolescents thrive through nurturing and compassion.
