About My Clients
In a world that is often overwhelming and isolating we have built an intentional space to pause, slow down, and get curious. Thoughtfully weaving together clinical knowledge, ancestral wisdom, liberation-oriented theory, lived experience (and so much more!) to heal, connect, and grow. None of us were created to do this alone. Lets grow together.
My Background and Approach
ash approaches therapeutic practice through a radical, trauma-informed lens that centers empathy, self-compassion, and anti-oppressiveness in approaching identity and growth within their affirming practice. With over a decade of experience in therapeutic art and group therapy with parents, pregnant and postpartum people, in addition to advocacy, activism, and community organizing centering LGBTQIA + disability issues - ash is thrilled to have opened their own solo practice, Cedar Moon Therapy and Somatics, in Evanston, IL
