About My Clients
In this practice, while working with your child and developing the therapeutic relationship, your child will be able to work through any problems they are facing, such as anxiety, life changes, and trauma. Prior to working at this practice, I have had experience working with adults experiencing mental health issues, such as individuals with anxiety, depression, and those who have experienced trauma.
My Background and Approach
My primary approach when working with children is Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), as well as the use of humanistic approaches with children and adults. I received my Master of Social Work through Keuka College, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). My love of therapy grew as I gained more experience through my education and practicing at field placements. I have always loved working with children and play therapy has always had special place in my heart. My love of play therapy grew even more after knowing someone in my personal life who had experienced play therapy as a child and the impact that it had on their life. Seeing the long-term effects of play therapy has just made my love for this profession grow.
