You can taste your potential but can’t find your way there. You find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships and know that you’re better off without your last partner, but you’re still thinking about what you did wrong. You value your grit, sense of humor, and relational savvy and get away with people thinking you’re okay when you’re not. You can build a life with friends and partners where they can handle seeing and loving all aspects of you.
My Background and Approach
The journey toward healing requires a strong partnership. I am a dynamic, funny, inclusive therapist that understands how hard it can be to keep it all together when you feel like you’re the only one carrying the load. I believe therapy is a collaborative space, and you can count on me to show up fully.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a social worker, I bring self and systems advocacy into the therapeutic space. I recognize that oppression takes all shapes and sizes, from the interpersonal to the systemic and is all of our responsibilities to name it and take a stand. I am a life-long learner in social justice matters, specifically as they relate to anti-black racism, women's issues, reproductive healthcare and access to mental health care. I am an ally to the LGBTQ+ population and strive to provide inclusive and safe spaces in my therapeutic relationships.
