About My Clients

I work with young adults who look “fine” on the outside but feel deeply alone underneath it all. Many grew up with emotionally immature parents and learned to overthink, people-please, or hide parts of themselves just to keep the peace. They’re anxious, burned out, hard on themselves, and quietly wondering why life feels harder for them than everyone else. Therapy gives them space to breathe, heal, and stop treating themselves like a problem to fix.

My Background and Approach

Right away, I want you to leave therapy with a few real tools that actually help in daily life. Not vague advice. Things you can use when your brain won’t slow down, your emotions feel too loud, or you’re stuck in old patterns that keep exhausting you. Once life feels more manageable, we can gently explore the deeper stuff underneath it all. We’ll make sense of how you learned to survive, why certain habits formed, and when those coping skills still help—or when they don’t. (Because using anxiety for every problem is a little like using a screwdriver as a hammer. Technically possible. Not ideal.) My focus is helping you feel emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually safe enough to finally breathe, trust yourself, and build a life that actually feels like yours.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe most people aren’t “too much” or “not enough.” They’ve just spent years surviving environments that made them feel that way. We learn so much about ourselves before we’re even old enough to question it, and a lot of those lessons stick hard. I also believe healing doesn’t require pretending you have it all together. I’ve lived through anxiety, depression, body image struggles, and imposter syndrome too. Therapy helped me stop treating myself like a problem to fix. I want that for you too. My office is a safe space for LGBTQ+ clients, BIPOC clients, and anyone who’s tired of feeling judged, misunderstood, or emotionally alone. Also, I deeply believe humor belongs in healing. Sometimes growth looks profound. Sometimes it looks like processing trauma while referencing TikTok or a true crime podcast. Both count.
