About My Clients
We seek to support you on your individual, personal journey to gain the perspective, understanding, and wisdom that you can then manifest in your daily life. I provide individual therapy sessions for adolescents, young adults, and adults, including our service members and veterans. I serve clients in Hawaii and New York via telehealth, with in-person therapy sessions offered for clients located on Oahu.
My Background and Approach
We all benefit from therapy and not just when we are in crisis! If you are starting to feel a bit unbalanced, this is a great time to work with a therapist to help you find that balance in your life again. Change happens when one is given the guidance to draw on your own strengths and realize your potential to live a fulfilling, happy life. Individual therapy is a journey that requires trust and patience. It is not easy to talk to a stranger about your deepest thoughts and feelings, and I recognize this! I aim to create and provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to facilitate your growth and journey forward. I integrate various models of therapy throughout my work including (but not limited to): person-centered, a "here-and-now" approach focusing on present feelings, developmental, CBT, strengths-based, and mindfulness techniques. I have an extensive background working with trauma and have training in psychoanalytic and attachment theories and approaches.

I believe that change happens when one is given the guidance to draw on your own strengths and realize your potential to live a fulfilling, happy life. I strongly believe that we all benefit from therapy, and not just when we are in crisis! I work with both Hawaii and New York clients in person and over telehealth.
