About My Clients
Clients I work with generally seek me out for support around trauma and stress they are finding challenging to navigate. I see a variety of clients coming from very different places in life, from first responders to veterans, to unexpected traumatic life events. Life stresses can begin early on in life or come up later in life. My clients tend to find relief through working with EMDR, Brainspotting, or equine interactions, either from the comfort of their home or out in a pasture with a horse.
My Background and Approach
We would love to be your partners on this journey! As an integrative therapist, Amira works with a variety of populations and incorporates therapeutic techniques. Amira is certified in EMDR, has over 20 hours of continuing education as an Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed therapist, is trained in Brainspotting, and trained to offer equine interactions in psychotherapy. This background allows her to tailor therapy to individual needs and goals. it is important to recognize the underlying issues that need to be addressed in order to fully heal and progress in life. It is equally as important to be able to address and heal from the past. If you are in need of support or ready make changes in life, I am ready to help! I am a trained Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning through Path Int’l, and completing the Equine-Assisted Mental Health Practitioner Post Graduate Certificate Program through the University of Denver in June 2024.
