About My Clients

My ideal client is a teen girl or woman navigating a major life transition who feels anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from herself or her body. She may be adjusting to pregnancy, postpartum, loss, identity changes, or emotional overwhelm and wants support that feels safe, grounding, and compassionate. She’s thoughtful, self-aware, and ready to build confidence, clarity, and a stronger connection to herself.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded in the belief that emotional wellbeing is deeply connected to our bodies, relationships, and life experiences. I am a trauma-informed therapist with specialized training in perinatal mental health, and I support women and teen girls through anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic and mindfulness-based practices, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help clients feel safer in their bodies, less stuck in their thoughts, and more aligned with what matters to them. Therapy with me is collaborative, paced, and responsive to your needs. I focus on building nervous system regulation, self-trust, and practical skills you can use outside of sessions. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, loss, identity changes, or emotional overwhelm, my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that women’s mental health is deeply shaped by our bodies, relationships, and the social contexts we live in. As a mother myself, I understand how profoundly life changes through pregnancy, postpartum, and the ongoing work of caring for others while trying to remain connected to yourself. I also live with ADHD, which informs my compassion for nervous systems that feel busy, overwhelmed, or misunderstood, and shapes how thoughtfully I approach attention, pacing, and support in therapy. I am a trained yoga teacher, and I believe in the power of mindful movement, breath, and body awareness as tools for regulation and healing. I am deeply invested in social justice and strive to offer care that is inclusive, affirming, and respectful of each client’s lived experience. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe, seen, and empowered to move forward in ways that align with their values and identities.
