This type of therapy is focused on the importance of relationships in a person's emotional well-being, as well as how culture influences relationships. I have a particular interest in how power dynamics, privilege and cultural movements impact my clients' experiences. I explore this within the context of my therapeutic relationship with clients as well as their relationships outside of therapy.

This approach centers on your experience and perspective being the driving force of therapy. You are the expert on yourself--my role is to hold space, support you and guide you in finding your own solutions, building self-confidence and self-trust. Person-Centered therapy works best with those who are highly motivated and self-aware.

I deeply understand the unique experiences of women from both a personal and professional perspective--including but not limited to our unpaid mental, emotional and physical labor, our increased risk for certain mental health problems (especially trauma), how our hormones affect us over the lifespan, and the importance of community and social support in our well-being.

I work specifically with women (many of whom are are autistic, ADHD, neurodivergent or wondering) who are ready to heal from emotional or narcissistic abuse and controlling relationships. Being neurodivergent makes you much more vulnerable to abuse and exploitation, and trauma can wreck your unique nervous system. I can help you process painful experiences in a safe, gentle way that doesn't involve re-telling every traumatic detail so you can feel more regulated and move on with your life.

I help late-diagnosed autistic & AuDHD women recover from emotional abuse, relational trauma and autistic burnout. As an AuDHD woman myself and a therapist with specialized training in neurodiversity-affirming care, trauma-informed therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, I actually get it. A lifetime of masking and confusing or painful relationships can leave you exhausted and isolated. We'll work on regulation, recovery and learning to live in your body again.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART ) can remove triggers by erasing negative images from view. ART uses guided eye movements and visualization techniques to reduce emotional and physical reactions to past experiences while allowing you to stay fully in control. ART sessions are typically 60 minutes and follow a step-by-step process guided by a trained clinician. You don't need to describe your trauma in detail to benefit.

I work with late-diagnosed/identified autistic, AuDHD and neurodivergent women who are struggling with identifying their needs, trusting themselves, communication, relationships, trauma and C-PTSD, sensory issues, self-esteem and identity, and overall functioning in a neurotypical world.

I primarily work with women because the female experience is one I deeply understand and am very passionate about. In additional to traditional weekly or bi-weekly 1:1 therapy, I offer extended 90-minute sessions and half-day therapy intensives as well as online group therapy to meet the complex needs of women.
