About My Clients

Most of the women I work with have spent their lives being told they're "too sensitive" or "too much." They've built exhausting routines, scripts, and performances to be acceptable to other people. Many ended up in relationships where their partners weaponized those same words — and they're now trying to sort out what was abuse, what was masking, and what was always just them.

My Background and Approach

My work is trauma-informed, somatic, relational, and neurodiversity-affirming. That means I'm not just focused on what happened to you. I'm focused on how it lives in you now, how it shows up in your nervous system, how it shapes the way you relate to others, the way you talk to yourself, and the way you move through the world. We go at your pace. There's no pressure to figure it all out or arrive at answers before you're ready. You don't have to mask in here. Stimming is welcome. So is silence. So is needing extra time to find the words. So is bluntness. So is changing your mind. I'm trained in trauma-informed therapy, neurodiversity-affirming care and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is an effective and efficient form of psychotherapy that helps people process distressing memories and symptoms by changing how those memories are stored in the brain.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm an AuDHD GenXer, which means I've got lots of quirks, can't find my glasses or my phone, and I question authority. I have always loved getting to know people who are different from me and who challenge my perspective. I care deeply about social justice, racial justice, human rights and animal rights. I believe therapy is political--and I am not afraid to speak up and show up for those whose voices are being silenced. I believe in empowering women to have access to education, resources, community and bodily autonomy.
