About My Clients

Looking for non-judgmental, caring support that can make a huge difference when you're making the choice to address trauma, navigate life transitions, process grief, and/or confront coping skills that are no longer serving you? I can't believe I'm lucky enough to get to be this kind of support for my fellow humans; there's nothing I love more. I believe there should be no taboos in therapy, and there's no need to perform. You deserve a space and a support that is just for you, the real you.

My Background and Approach

As a trauma-informed yoga instructor also certified in military social work practice and with a background in education and supportive housing clinical case management, I have a passion for harm reduction, social justice, and equal access to quality client-determined care. I am primarily a relational therapist guided by a neurobiological approach--therapy looks different for each person because our brains, bodies, and experiences are unique and our therapy should be, as well. I believe all humans have the capacity to self-heal, but healing is a lot easier with a support system!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that therapy is political--in our society, simply having access to healthcare is an intersection of privilege. I come from a family of veterans and first responders, and I grew up with and continue to hold dear the idea that every human being has value and deserves our deepest care and our strongest advocacy and support. I am here to stand beside you, fight for you, and help you build your support network and your list of resources because EVERYONE deserves community. I also believe that no one should have to "settle" for their therapist. I offer a free initial phone consultation--ask your questions, share about yourself and your goals, and trust yourself to know if our collaboration feels like what will work for you! I will ALWAYS be open to correction/critique because therapy is a gift you give yourself; I want it to have value. If I'm not the right fit, I'm happy to do anything I can to help you find a therapist who can best support your goals.
