My Background and Approach
I offer 1:1, couple and family therapy sessions. I have experience helping resolve specific concerns such as anxiety, depression, obsessions, focus/concentration issues, panic, difficulty sleeping and so much more. I can also take a family approach, helping resolve conflict within the family, behavior issues in school and most other relational issues. I am effective in treating Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, ADHD, ODD, Autism, Self-Harm, Bipolar and other Mood Disorders. It is my philosophy that to be effective for you I have to be real, trustworthy, empathatic, and warm. I also have to be knowledgable and apply what has been proven to work. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. Which means that I think you can unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones.
