About My Clients
Life is difficult to manage at times. If you are experiencing anxiety or depression, you may feel out of control, like your emotions are taking over. You may feel completely alone, as though no one understands you or what you are going through. You may feel stuck, like things will never get better. You want a safe and supportive space to discuss and process your emotions in your own time, in an environment free of judgement. I have had my own struggles and I have been there myself.
My Background and Approach
My passion is in helping folks who experience anxiety, depression, addiction issues, and trauma to better understand themselves and to heal. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a form of therapy that focuses on reducing the distressing feelings associated with difficult life experiences. I currently offer individual therapy and I am accepting new clients at this time.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that Black Lives Matter, I believe that Love is Love, I believe in Health at Every Size, I believe that women's rights are human rights, I believe that we are all immigrants and no one is illegal, and I believe that going to therapy is cool.
