About My Clients
My clients arrive somewhere— a new job, the final stretch of college, grad school, a new relationship— expecting it to be the part that finally feels easier. Instead, the same pattern shows up again: hold it all together for as long as possible, perform, accomplish, then hit a wall. From the outside, they seem to have everything going for them. Inside, it’s a flood of overthinking, pressure, and self-doubt. There is no compassion waiting on the other side of the spiral, just self-judgement.
My Background and Approach
Most of my clients have anxiety, depression, and/or ADHD. Many have trauma histories or difficult relationships with their parents. Others just know something feels off, that “functional” isn’t the same as “fine.” Usually, if it were just a matter of trying harder, my clients would have already fixed it. My approach is a nuanced balance of nonjudgemental & “no B.S.” This isn’t a place to talk in circles, avoid the real issues, or blow up your life. I’ll push back when it matters, dig deep when we’re not getting to the root of it, and laugh with you along the way. If you’re ready to stop holding it together through sheer force of will, let’s talk.
