About My Clients

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for a change? I’m here to help. I specialize in supporting teens, young adults, and professionals facing anxiety, depression, or life transitions. As someone deeply committed to serving BIPOC communities, I provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care designed to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space to help you heal, grow, and rediscover your strength. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

My Background and Approach

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in mental health care, I specialize in providing trauma-informed therapy. My 12+ years working in the child welfare system have shaped my expertise in supporting individuals through complex life challenges, giving me a deep understanding of how past experiences can influence current struggles. I earned my Master of Social Work from Florida International University and continuously expand my knowledge in trauma-focused care and leadership, ensuring I bring the most effective, evidence-based practices into our sessions. My approach blends mindfulness and culturally competent care to help you rediscover balance, heal from trauma, and build a fulfilling life. Whether you’re seeking support for personal growth, overcoming emotional barriers, or managing transitions, I’m here to guide you toward empowerment and lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a passionate advocate for mental health equity, I’m deeply committed to creating safe and inclusive spaces for healing, particularly for individuals from BIPOC communities. My values are rooted in compassion, empowerment, and cultural humility. I believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care and strive to dismantle systemic barriers that prevent marginalized groups from receiving the support they need. I actively support causes that promote social justice and advocacy initiatives for mental health awareness in underrepresented communities. I also mentor aspiring mental health professionals and volunteer my time to support programs that provide resources to youth aging out of the foster care system. These experiences inspire and inform my trauma-informed approach, ensuring I meet each client with empathy, understanding, and respect. Outside my practice, I enjoy long walks, hot yoga, and mindfulness activities.
