About My Clients
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families. I am trained to support neurodivergent clients and provide affirming, strengths-based care that honors different ways of thinking, communicating, and relating. I also utilize Gottman Method interventions to help couples strengthen communication and connection. I am poly/ENM friendly as well.
My Background and Approach
I am a recent graduate with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy practicing under supervision as an PLMFT. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed. Together, we'll explore your experiences, identify what matters most to you, and build on your strengths to create meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people can change, heal, and grow at any point in their lives, as long as they are open to the journey. Growth is rarely a straight path, and having the right support can make all the difference. Growing up queer in the South, I understand the challenges of navigating identity in environments where you may not feel fully seen, understood, or accepted. I know how painful it can be to balance authenticity with the expectations of family, culture, and a society that continues to place obstacles in your path. My goal is to provide a welcoming, affirming space where clients can openly explore these experiences, process difficult emotions, and build a life that feels more aligned with who they are. I also hope to offer a sense of connection and community, because I believe that meaningful relationships and supportive communities are essential to healing, resilience, and personal growth.
