I specialized in narrative therapy through dedicated master’s courses and applied it extensively during my practicum and current private practice. This approach helps clients reframe their stories and find new meaning, empowering them to overcome challenges by separating their identity from their problems. I completed specialized CBT training in my master’s program and have actively used it in both practicum and private practice. CBT’s structured, goal-oriented methods help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I apply CBT to support anxiety, depression, and other issues, guiding clients toward practical strategies for lasting mental wellness and resilience.

For the past three years, I have specialized in play therapy under the close supervision of my experienced supervisor. This approach allows children to express emotions and process experiences through creative play, making therapy accessible and effective for young clients. Play therapy enhances emotional healing and development by meeting children where they are in a safe, supportive environment.

Through extensive coursework and clinical experience, including my practicum at Hope House, I’ve developed strong expertise in treating anxiety. Many clients in my private practice struggle with anxiety symptoms as well, and I use evidence-based techniques to help manage and reduce these feelings. Working with many clients facing depressive symptoms, I’m skilled in using proven therapeutic methods to support healing and hope. I provide a safe, empathetic space where you can explore your feelings and develop strategies to move toward recovery and well-being.

As Chair of Postpartum Support International’s Montana chapter, I bring specialized knowledge and leadership in pregnancy and postpartum care. I’ve completed their certification training, equipping me with evidence-based skills to support individuals through pregnancy, postpartum mood disorders, and adjustment challenges. My expertise ensures compassionate, informed care tailored to the unique emotional and mental health needs during this important life phase.
