Creativity Salon
Spark your imagination and join me for a non-clinical, creativity incubator space for writers, musicians, actors, playwrights, and creatives. This is a space to let ideas kick up and around, disconnect from your medium, redirect your energy to another in community with other creatives and then return back to your creative project refreshed with new perspective.
This is a drop in group format, open and confidential for you to play with themes and ideas related to your creative work. Participants will engage in collaborate activities, parallel play, and multi-modal experiential activities to provide perspectives. This is a third space for creatives hungry for movement in their creative endeavors.
Your facilitator is a graduate of the MA Counseling Psychology Drama Therapy program at the California Institute for Integral Studies, and has explored and researched the psychology of creativity. She directs self-revelatory performance, a theatrical performance component of the Five Phase Integrative Model in which an actor and director work together to create, write, stage, and perform an original piece of theatre based on the actor’s personal material. She is a graduate of the Institute West for Developmental Transformations, CIIS, and Baldwin Wallace’s musical theatre program.
This group is free to participants. Pre-Registration is required.
