ART is unique because the ART Therapist guides the client to replace the negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress with positive images of the client’s choosing. It may be an effective intervention for trauma, depression, and other mental health concerns. ART uses eye movements aimed to help quickly alleviate symptoms, which are often related to past trauma.
