About My Clients
I work best with teens, young adults, and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted and are ready for support—even if they’re unsure where to start. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, or navigating major life transitions. I also support individuals experiencing substance use concerns or balancing mental health and substance-related challenges.
My Background and Approach
I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with a Master of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have experience working in outpatient clinics, hospitals, schools, residential, PHP, and IOP settings, which allows me to support clients with a wide range of needs and life circumstances. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, grief, and co-occurring mental health and substance-related concerns. My background in both individual and group therapy helps clients build insight, practical coping skills, and a stronger sense of connection. I draw from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, regulate emotions, and make sustainable changes. My training across diverse settings allows me to meet clients where they are, whether they need structure, skill-building, or space to process. Clients benefit from an approach that is flexible and compassionate.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I value authenticity, equity, and compassion. I believe healing happens best in spaces where people feel seen, respected, and safe to be themselves. I am committed to practicing from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and anti-oppressive lens, and I actively support inclusivity across race, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ability. I care deeply about mental health advocacy, reducing stigma, and increasing access to care—especially for individuals who have felt misunderstood, overlooked, or pressured to “push through” without support. I believe rest is valid, boundaries are healthy, and growth doesn’t have to be rushed.
