About My Clients
Life can change in an instant—a cancer diagnosis, the loss of someone you love, a serious health challenge, or having to start over when life did not go as planned. I work with adults navigating these transitions, including grief, caregiver stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and rebuilding life after incarceration. You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can start exactly where you are.
My Background and Approach
Great. 😎 Now Background and Approach — this is where we earn our keep. Paste this: I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly two decades of experience helping adults through difficult and often unexpected chapters of life. My background includes working with cancer patients and their families, adults coping with chronic pain and serious medical conditions, grief and trauma, substance use concerns, and individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration. My approach is warm, practical, and conversational. I believe therapy should be a place where you can speak openly without feeling judged or pressured to have the “right” answers. We’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing, identify what is within your control, and develop realistic ways to cope and move forward. I tailor therapy to the person in front of me rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and better equipped to navigate whatever comes next.
