About My Clients
I particularly enjoy working with those who question the societal messages that inform how we show up in relationships and dictate what it means to be successful, beautiful, and healthy--among many other things. In the words of Darcie Wilder, "literally show me a healthy person." Concepts like normality, acceptability, and having-your-shit-together-ness can be so restricting in a world overflowing with trauma and injustice.
My Background and Approach
My style is curious, collaborative, and playful. I balance the intensity of life with warmth, empathy, and humor. I show up as my authentic self to allow my clients to do the same. I draw from both my formal training and lived experience while recognizing my privileges and limitations. Using an intersectional and trauma-informed lens, our work will be tailored specifically for your needs. I believe that you exist separately from the problems you're experiencing and already possess the strength needed to move your life in your preferred direction. Therapy presents an opportunity for reflection and reinvention. Together we can process events of the past, unpack present patterns, and unveil a more nuanced description of self that inspires and emboldens your truth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I take pride in fostering a space that is LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-racist, and fat positive/HAES aligned. I am also sex, sex worker, poly/CNM, BDSM & kink positive. My work is inspired by disability justice, invested in restorative justice, and I welcome mistakes and imperfections. Let's learn and grow together.
