About My Clients

My clients are people who have been carrying something heavy for a long time — often without fully understanding why. They're high-functioning on the outside and exhausted on the inside. They've tried to think their way through patterns that keep repeating. They're ready to go deeper. I work with adults navigating trauma, attachment wounds, eating disorders, postpartum struggles, and life transitions. Many have never had words for what they've been experiencing.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 8 years of clinical experience. I trained at Exodus Recovery, where I worked with dual-diagnosis clients, and subsequently worked in residential eating disorder treatment before opening my private practice. My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-based. I use EMDR as a primary modality — working directly with the nervous system rather than just the thinking mind. I also draw from CBT, DBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, tailoring my approach to each person rather than applying a single protocol. I believe healing happens in relationship. The therapeutic connection we build together is not incidental to the work — it is the work. I bring both clinical training and lived experience to every session, including my own journey through anxiety, birth trauma, and the identity transformation of becoming a mother. I offer telehealth sessions across California, and a free 15-minute consultation

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe you cannot think your way out of something that didn't begin in thought. Trauma, attachment wounds, and the patterns that keep repeating — these live in the nervous system, not just the mind. Real healing requires going to where they actually live. I believe the therapeutic relationship is not a vehicle for technique — it is healing in itself. Being genuinely known by another person, without judgment, is something many of my clients have never fully experienced. That experience changes things at a level that insight alone rarely reaches. I believe in the philosophy of Kintsugi — that the broken places, repaired with care, become part of what makes us whole. You are not trying to return to who you were before. You are becoming someone who includes everything that has happened. I believe you deserve support not because things are bad enough, but because you are human — and humans were never meant to carry everything alone.
