About My Clients
I work with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals who may have spent years feeling misunderstood or trying to fit into expectations that don’t feel like their own. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, identity exploration, or relationship challenges. Whether you’re learning to unmask, questioning long-held beliefs, or noticing familiar patterns in your relationships, our work can help you better understand yourself and explore what living more authentically means to you.
My Background and Approach
So much of how we understand ourselves is shaped by our relationships, lived experiences, and the expectations we’ve learned to navigate. For LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, this can sometimes mean years of adapting, masking, or questioning which parts of themselves are safe to express. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and relational therapy, with an emphasis on understanding how these experiences shape the way you see yourself, connect with others, and move through the world. Together, we might explore: -How early experiences and relationships influence your present-day patterns -The impact of masking, societal expectations, and internalized beliefs on your sense of self -The roles you’ve learned to take on in relationships and how they affect your needs and boundaries -How your identity and experiences influence the way you move through the world -Why you respond to certain situations the way you do -What it might look like to feel more comfortable being yourself
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
So much of how we understand ourselves is shaped by the world around us. From family expectations to societal norms, we learn which parts of ourselves are accepted and which ones we might need to hide. Over time, it can become difficult to separate who we are from who we’ve been expected to be. I’m especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals who are exploring what it means to live more authentically. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and relational therapy, with a trauma-informed perspective that recognizes how our experiences shape us. I believe therapy can be a space to question long-held beliefs and reconnect with parts of ourselves we may have learned to suppress.
