About My Clients
My clients are often at the point where they are recognizing that what was working before is no longer working for them. I help them navigate through the storm to become a stronger, more authentic self.
My Background and Approach
My work is trauma-informed and a combination of learning more about you as a person, practical problem-solving, psychoeducation, and using various techniques such as brainspotting and bilateral stimulation to assist with processing repressed feelings. My experience is primarily with youth and families as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and Special Education teacher and advocate. I work holistically, integrating academic and vocational concerns with emotional and mental challenges to best support the client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that our greatest hope for a better future lies in investing in the most vulnerable populations: children, non White, neurodivergence, disabled, and caregivers (typically women). My faith leads me to fight for everyone to feel loved and accepted while also having personal and collective accountability. I am especially interested in supporting parents and other caregivers of children, neurodivergent families, and youth and adolescents.
