About My Clients

You may feel overwhelmed, confused, or defeated. You might feel like you are "not enough" and "too much" at the same time. Whether you are navigating trauma, ADHD, or emotional burnout, you've likely developed strategies to survive a painful past and cope with an uncertain future. But are those strategies still serving you? My clients are teens and adults facing difficult emotions related to trauma, ADHD, addiction, or other stressors.

My Background and Approach

My approach starts where you are. Your perspective is the most important one in the room. Together, we’ll use compassion and curiosity to tap into your innate capacity for growth and recovery. In our sessions, we'll identify deep-seated core beliefs that feel like laws of nature, and gently rebuild ones that foster peace. We'll practice skills to help you navigate daily life and reconnect with yourself and others. We’ll do this using evidence-based approaches tailored to you including mindfulness-based therapies, CBT, DBT, & parts-work. When you're ready to explore a new way forward, I am here. Call or text to schedule a free, consultation to see if we're a match!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

All beings have an innate potential to surmount seemingly impossible circumstances and change their lives. I also acknowledge the injustices entrenched within our worlds that deserve to be acknowledged. My perspective reflects these seemingly opposing ideas that the issues we face are both personal and global. By tapping into our own innate power, we can work together to create a culture of connection. As a gay man, I am deeply connected to the LGBTQ community and advocate for trans-rights. I respect people's right to express their human experience in whatever way feels most genuine to them. For much of my career, I have worked closely with marginalized groups including those experiencing poverty & urban trauma, racial injustices, gender discrimination, and those living with with HIV/AIDS. Apart from my professional practice, I am deeply connected to animals, caring for more than a few myself, and advocate for sustainability practices.
