About My Clients

You’re overwhelmed, self-aware, and stuck in patterns you don’t totally understand — in relationships, with your emotions, or the way you talk to yourself. I work best with teens and twenty-somethings navigating anxiety, low self-worth, perfectionism, people-pleasing, identity questions, and relational dynamics that aren’t working anymore.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in both private practice and residential treatment. I specialize in anxiety, perfectionism, low self-worth, identity exploration, attachment wounds, and relational dynamics — especially with parents, partners, and friends. My style is warm, direct, playful, and deeply collaborative. I blend relational and psychodynamic work with CBT, DBT, and somatic tools to help clients build insight and actually create change — not just talk about it. I work especially well with teens and twenty-somethings who feel emotionally overwhelmed, checked out, or stuck in patterns they can’t quite name. I also support clients stepping down from higher levels of care and wanting to continue the work in a way that feels grounded, honest, and real.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My clients are often the ones who seem fine on the outside — high-functioning, funny, insightful — but are overwhelmed underneath. I work especially well with teens and twenty-somethings who overthink, shut down, spiral emotionally, or push people away without meaning to. The ones who care deeply but don’t always know how to show it — or ask for what they need. Behind the anxiety or people-pleasing or perfectionism, there’s usually more going on: core wounds, attachment trauma, or old emotional patterns that still run the show. I help clients make sense of those patterns — not just intellectually, but relationally and somatically — so they can start to feel more grounded, clear, and connected to themselves. Whether you’re constantly reading into texts, keeping the peace while feeling resentful, struggling with boundaries, or unsure who you are when you’re not fixing or shrinking — this is work we can do together.
