About My Clients

Over the years I've supported children, teens, and adults in navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, chronic illness, life transitions, and cultural identity. Many struggle with over-functioning who feel disconnected from their authentic selves. Others come to therapy with guilt or shame for tending to the self and seek support in understanding why they feel this and how to overcome it. My clients are thoughtful, reflective, and often carry a curiosity that hasn’t been fully understood before.

My Background and Approach

I've been engaging in a variety of clinical social work settings in DC and abroad since 2015. I've also worked with a wide range of age groups across the life-span ranging from children and pre-adolescents to young adults and families. My style is client-centered: I believe therapy works best when it honors your pace and your goals. I use a combination of strengths-based care, trauma-informed practices, mindfulness, narrative work, and inner child exploration. Together, we’ll make sense of the patterns formed in your past, understand how they show up in your present, and build tools that support re-centering, self-trust, and grounded decision-making.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Centering accountability, integrity, and clinical ethics has always guided my work. I strive to serve my clients the way I’d hope to be served by my own therapist - with transparency and a genuine commitment to growth. I believe that modeling accountability inside the therapy room creates healthier relationships outside of it. Below are a few core beliefs I have learned and centered over the years: 1. All therapists are human. I bring my own history, identities, and lens into the room, and I work to stay aware, open to feedback, and grounded in your goals. Your story, intuition, and autonomy will guide our work. 2. Therapists can make mistakes too. I welcome feedback, questions, and honest conversations about your needs. Our sessions can be a safe place to practice expressing yourself without fear of judgment. 3. The therapeutic relationship is mutual. While I hold space for you, I also hold immense gratitude for the ways clients have shaped my understanding and compassion.
