About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained, even when they appear high functioning. Many struggle with anxiety, trauma, relationship conflict, burnout, or life transitions. They’re often insightful but want deeper change, better coping tools, and more stability in how they think, feel, and connect with others.
My Background and Approach
My work is trauma-informed and integrates EMDR, Gottman-informed couples therapy, Functional Family Therapy, and behavioral interventions. I focus on nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and helping clients turn insight into consistent change. I’ve worked across private practice, family therapy, and juvenile justice settings, supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relational distress, and behavioral patterns that feel hard to shift. Therapy with me is structured, collaborative, and practical. Clients gain clarity on patterns, tools for emotional regulation, and support applying what they learn in real life—not just in session.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel safe, respectful, and grounded in real understanding of a person’s lived experience. People deserve care that honors their identity, culture, and strengths while helping them build healthier patterns and stronger emotional stability. I approach this work with compassion, accountability, and the belief that change happens when insight is paired with structure and support. My role is to help clients feel seen while also challenging the patterns that keep them stuck. Growth is possible when people have space to process, tools to regulate, and a relationship that supports honest work.
