About My Clients
If you are a reflective and curious individual wanting to get more out of your personal relationships, or address concerns around anxiety, stress, life events or health changes (including pregnancy and postpartum mental health), then this approach to therapy may be a good fit for you. I work with adults of all ages as well as adolescents, ages 12+.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri. I earned my Master of Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill and have completed training though the UNC Department of Psychiatry Child and Adolescent Clinic and through Postpartum Support International. I value working with individuals diverse in community and identity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Are you seeking to live a fuller life less encumbered by stress, anxiety, or self-doubt? Psychodynamic and emotion-focused therapy is a supportive and nonjudgmental process that allows us to develop a deeper understanding of how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by our experiences. Through this work we can foster greater self-awareness, enhance our ability to tune into and regulate our emotions, and become more empowered to live authentically and purposefully in the present, enriching our lives and relationships along the way.
