About My Clients
If you are a reflective and curious individual wanting to get more out of your personal relationships or address concerns around self-esteem, anxiety, stress, family of origin challenges, life or health changes - including postpartum mental health - then this approach to therapy may be a good fit for you. I work with adults as well as adolescents, ages 12+.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master of Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill, have completed training though the UNC Department of Psychiatry Child and Adolescent Clinic, as well as through Postpartum Support International. I value working with individuals diverse in community and identity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Are you seeking to live a fuller life less encumbered by stress, anxiety, loneliness, or self-doubt? Psychodynamic and emotion-focused therapy is a supportive and nonjudgmental process that allows us to develop a deeper understanding of how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by our experiences. Through this work we can foster greater self-awareness, enhance our ability to tune into and regulate our emotions, and become more empowered to live authentically and purposefully in the present, enriching our lives and relationships along the way.
