About My Clients
Carl Jung said, "Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes." Sometimes we seem to live outside while our inner Self is trying to find a way to be heard. Or maybe your Self is very loud and all you want is to be in peace and quiet. Whichever your exploration is, I am here to support you. Sometimes there will be tears, others laughter, and peace in many. I bring humor, challenges, creativity, expansion, the arts, and openness and invite you to join me. If not now, when?
My Background and Approach
I assist and challenge my clients in deeply exploring and processing their life through a collaborative relationship. We usually call it "going down the rabbit hole" and coming out with the knowledge and intuition to live a balanced, connected life. I believe that the anxiety, depression, and/or trauma we have experienced/felt or are currently experiencing can be transformed into experiences that can teach us and eventually move us forward. I feel that integrating and loving all parts of the Self is an important aspect of our work. I use treatment modalities such as Expressive Arts therapy (which include visual arts, dance/movement, music/sound, theater, writing, nature, etc), CBT, Trauma CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Embodiment Coaching and Embodiment Yoga Coaching, Jungian, Sand-tray, Play therapy, etc. I also utilize the senses (smell, sound, kinesthesia, touch, sight) to increase my clients’ awareness of themselves, bodies, space, connection, relationships, feelings, etc.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we are all connected even if we feel otherwise. We have the ability to realize we are the true Creators of our lives and all exists within us. We have the ability to walk our hero's journey in pain, in tears, in laughter, in growth and make choices, even the hard ones. I believe we have choices and when we say we have none, in reality there was a difficulty choice staring at us and it was hard to stare back. I believe in fairness, justice, equality, in having opportunities. I believe in respecting others' feelings, choices, lives, ideas, opinions not only when we prefer them. It is just as important to respect when we don't agree. I believe in lifting the illusion of duality we live in so we can all come together peacefully and lovingly. I believe in the pulse of Earth, nature, animals and our connection to all of it. I believe in loving yourself truly and first so you can love others truly as well.
