They bring resilience from the challenging experiences they face and many of my clients bring and discuss the ways relationships impact their day to day lives. My Background and Approach
I like to think of my approach as a tool kit. In it, I have many strategies and techniques that I move through with my clients to find the best approaches for each of them individually. No matter what challenges and struggles my clients face, I use my diverse set of tools to help them find the right approach for them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can grow and change throughout their lives. While we are not always the most perfect version of ourselves, we all carry inherent worth, dreams, and aspirations that we strive for every day. Often times, we struggle with mental health challenges because our other needs aren't met -- whether they are uncertainty in our housing, food, relationships, or elsewhere in our lives, so much of therapy is identifying our needs and finding ways to meet them. I believe in gender-affirming, trauma-affirming, and social justice-informed care. In our sessions, you are the expert -- and I am walking alongside you helping to find the next step forward.
