About My Clients
I work with clients from many walks of life experiencing life difficulties. Anxiety, depression, loss, grief, and life, in general, can often pile up on any one of us. Having someone you can talk about your experience and feelings nonjudgmentally and get assistance in building new coping skills and achieving new goals. I enjoy watching my clients achieve their goals and move their their lives with more capability than they may have in the past.
My Background and Approach
As a social worker, I believe in meeting my clients where they are in their life and starting with them where they are ready. Because of this, I collaborate with my clients to find an approach that works best for them. Using an eclectic approach include CBT, Narrative, and positive psychology, I help my clients find their way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people are resilient and robust, even if they may not have had the experiences in their lives that have allowed them to see these impressive things about themselves. I feel my goal as a therapist, is to give my clients skills to highlight their own resilience and see their own strength as they work toward their goals.
