About My Clients
Do you ever feel like you’re supposed to have it all under control—but inside, you’re exhausted from pretending? Maybe you’re a teen who feels anxious all the time, frustrated that no one really “gets” you. Or maybe you’re a parent who’s been carrying old pain and pressure for so long that you’ve learned to numb out. If you’re tired of feeling like you have to stay strong, keep quiet, or figure it all out alone—you’re in the right place.
My Background and Approach
I help teens and parents who are stuck in cycles of overthinking, isolation, and self-criticism finally start to feel some relief. Our work together isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you understand what’s really driving your anxiety or depression and learning how to reconnect with yourself in a way that actually feels real and doable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when people feel truly seen—not judged, not analyzed from a distance, but understood. I believe every person has a story that makes sense once you know what they’ve been carrying, and that healing begins when we stop asking “What’s wrong with me?” and start asking “What happened to me—and what do I need now?” I believe people deserve spaces where they don’t have to “be strong,” “hold it together,” or pretend they’re fine. Emotions aren’t weaknesses. Anger isn’t a flaw. Shutdown isn’t failure. These are signals—messages from the nervous system that something important needs attention. I believe identity matters. Whether you’re LGBTQ+, questioning, or navigating the pressures of growing up in environments where you had to hide parts of yourself, you deserve a therapist who respects who you are and doesn’t make you explain or justify it. I believe change doesn’t happen through pressure—it happens through safety, honesty, and connection.
