About My Clients
I specialize in working with clients who are navigating adulthood in their twenties and thirties. These are often people who are seeking to better understand themselves, explore identity as well as their relationships. I support clients through anxiety and depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, identity, school and work issues, life transitions and self-esteem.
My Background and Approach
I believe one of our greatest human needs is to be seen and understood. I hope that this process that we choose to begin and create can be an affirming and collaborative one in which we tend to your goals together. While I do experience each individual uniquely, I do tend to take an integrative approach to therapeutic work through a psychodynamic lens as well as a feminist perspective; holding space for the “whole person” and their various intersectional identities.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I don't think we can talk about mental health without talking about our identities and our relationship with the systems and social constructs we experience every day. It is an essential part of my work with clients to hold space to honor and safely explore the ways they are experiencing the world around them and the various intersectional identities they hold.
