About My Clients

My clients come from diverse backgrounds and seek therapy for many different reasons. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, life transitions, identity exploration, or personal growth. Their goals may include finding relief from distressing symptoms, building resilience, developing healthier coping skills, increasing self-understanding, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

My Background and Approach

Since 2010, I have supported thousands of individuals through therapy, social work, health education, coaching, yoga, and bodywork. My experience spans primary care, community mental health, outpatient therapy, schools, hospice, mobile crisis services, and emergency communications, which allows me to adapt my approach to a wide range of mental health concerns and life circumstances. My approach is humanistic, person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), with cognitive, behavioral, somatic, expressive, and mindfulness-based interventions. My interdisciplinary background allows me to thoughtfully integrate holistic, mind-body approaches while tailoring therapy to each client's unique needs, preferences, values, and goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. My practice is grounded in inclusivity, harm reduction, cultural humility, and social justice, and I strive to create a space where people of all identities, backgrounds, beliefs, and lived experiences feel safe, affirmed, and genuinely welcomed. As a queer, non-binary, and neurodiverse therapist, I understand the importance of finding a clinician who values authenticity and recognizes the many factors that shape our mental health and well-being. I believe healing begins with curiosity, connection, and self-compassion, and that meaningful change is possible when people feel empowered to live in alignment with their values rather than fear.
