I have extensive experience in recovery from alcoholism (as well as with codependency and children of alcoholics). I understand the difficulties experienced by all those impacted by the disease of alcoholism, including the family. I have experience with 12 step methodology and mindfulness and incorporate these into the therapeutic process, as needed. Additionally, we can explore the use of EMDR in treatment to address any underlying trauma.
