Our Pre-Marital program is an 8week program focused on addressing financial plans, intimacy expectations, future vision(s), and more. Our marriage/couples program focuses on relearning or rediscovering what brought you together long ago and sweeping out all the unspoken conversations that have been swept under the rug over the years.

People usually think of someone dying when you mention grief, but grief is actually about loss. It can be the loss of your identify when you retire, loss of what has been your main priority when you become an empty nester, even the loss of an idea you had when you realize someone isn't who you thought they were. Grief or loss can look different than many think.

It's hard to know how to move forward when your dream gets rained on and nothing is what is appeared to be any longer. Our Family Mediation program is about helping people recover their sense of self, find a way to build a new relationship with their ex when a child is involved, or just learning how to trust again when you're ready to begin the next chapter. Let's talk about how to end a chapter that has so many remaining cliff hangers.

Sometimes just discussing where you've been can help you figure out where you are and how to move forward with a clearer understanding of where you're going. Let's discuss where you want to go and how you want to look when you get there.

Though counseling is my passion and my business, it is not because I know what's best for you or your family. My choice of practicing the Person-Centered approach is to learn what natural talents, gifts and strengths you already have so we can develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.

While I believe in the benefit of learning one's history and identifying their strengths, each client is not always afforded the amount of sessions needed for those approaches. Focusing on the outcome sought, like managing anxiety or dealing with work relations or even managing a recent loss or change in life, then building a treatment plan centered on quicker behavioral change and/or managed emotional wellness is the best path to getting the most out of the least amount of time.
