About My Clients

If you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, difficulty getting by because of anxiety, or wanting to find meaning and aliveness in your relationships or life, therapy can be a special & powerful space of self-discovery where you can find ways to feel better, to connect authentically with oneself and others, or to make decisions that feel truly right to you. I have deep commitment and curiosity to support my clients and am honored to witness resilience and transformation in my practice.

My Background and Approach

In my practice, I offer holistic psychotherapy that is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. I incorporate Client-Centered, Relational & body-oriented approach. Our session often looks like “talk therapy.” My Client-Centered approach is grounded in warm, non-judgemental presence that sincerely honors your inner wisdom and strength. As a relational therapist, I value collaborative therapeutic processes, so we’ll work together to find what feels the most helpful to you in our sessions. I am attentive to trauma response and creating a safe space. I use the lens of Somatic Experiencing® (SE) - body oriented approach for the resolution of trauma and chronic stress. Methods of SE give us embodied awareness and understanding of trauma response, autonomic nervous system, and tools of how to slowly and gently regulate and support our system to bring balance in our lives.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As an immigrant, I am keen to cultural nuances and complexities. Working with me, you'll find someone who is sensitive navigating cultural expectations, values & one's identities as well as balancing deep connection to the richness and beauty in one's cultures and family of origin. It is also very important for me to acknowledge and continue learn/unlearn structural/systemic inequality, which has and continues to cause harm. I strive for and imagine greater equity and social/economical/environmental justice in our communities, in my practice, in the world, and for our future. If any of these resonates with you, I sincerely welcome you connecting with me and love to learn how I might support you.
