About My Clients
I’m very fortunate to have worked with a diverse population of people which also broadened my cultural competency. I have worked with the juvenile court system, at-risk youth, parole and probation, mental health and residential treatment. My experience in the field and life experiences allows me to meet clients right where they are. I know firsthand what it means to feel alone and hopeless. Clients will be in a judgment-free zone; filled with compassion and empathy.
My Background and Approach
Having obtained my Master's of Science in Addiction Studies; and being a Licensed and Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor has afforded me the opportunity to have an array of experience in the field of substance abuse. I’ve been a Counselor for over 15 years and I am continuously learning all I can as it relates to the field of addictions and substance use disorders. You’ll be in the best place to help you re-center, refocus, and take the time you need to work through things with the help of a caring counselor to help you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Yet, despite the overwhelming evidence supporting that position, drug addiction continues to be criminalized. Addiction should be treated, not penalized"-Dr. Nora Volkow.” If you or a loved one is struggling with an addiction to alcohol or drugs you’re probably full of emotions, questions, and doubts. You may be feeling overwhelmed, scared, and stressed. People struggling with a substance use disorder have a difficult time controlling the substance and need someone to come alongside and say, “You can do this; I can help.” As your Counselor, I’ll do my best to show you that it is possible to get better. You may feel hopeless and unsure right now; but take a deep breath and know that with the right help, you will be able to get your life back, and embark on a beautiful journey of recovery.
