About My Clients
My clients are diverse and resilient individuals who are often navigating complex life challenges, including substance use recovery, mental health struggles such as anxiety, depression and trauma, as well as relationship dynamics and co-occurring disorders. I work with both adolescents and adults, offering support through individual therapy and family therapy. I have a strong understanding of how trauma, family dynamics and socio-environmental factors influence mental health and substance use.
My Background and Approach
I am a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and over three years of experience supporting individuals through some of life's most challenging moments. My work primarily focuses on helping clients navigate mental health struggles, complex family dynamics and substance use recovery. I have extensive experience working with co-occurring disorders, trauma, and relational conflicts, empowering clients to build resilience and find healing. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) , and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Through these methods, I support clients in understanding the connections between their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions and work alongside them to develop healthy coping strategies and strengthen emotional regulation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My sessions are client-centered and strength-based, prioritizing a safe, non-judgmental environment where individuals feel heard and supported. I am committed to helping my clients uncover their inner strengths, build self-awareness, and achieve meaningful progress toward their goals. I believe that healing is possible for everyone.
