Using evidence-based practices, I work with my clients to help them learn and use skills to effectively cope with difficult emotions, decrease distress, and enrich their lives. I aim to help clients feel empowered to reach their goals and resilient in the face of life's challenges.
I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Boston University, was a post-doctoral fellow at the Boston Child Study Center and completed my predoctoral internship at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. In addition to my private practice, I work at McLean Hospital in the School Consultation Service. I am trained in CBT, Parent Management Training, and have certification in the Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for Selective Mutism. Additionally, I have training in the implementation of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy strategies.
