I work with clients who from teenagers through to seniors. I support individuals who are struggling with worries, sadness, and relationship difficulties, or who feel "stuck" in their lives in some way.
My Background and Approach
Psychotherapy is a personal experience. I support individuals who are struggling with worries, sadness, and relationship difficulties, or who feel "stuck" in their lives in some way. I primally focus on anxiety, depression, and trauma, using person-centered, cognitive behavioral and integrative practices. I take an integrative approach to tackling mental health issues because there is no one-size-fits-all method for achieving wellness. Through my own healing journey, I have learned to incorporate nature and physical movement into the therapeutic process as a complement to talk therapy. I have been working to redefine my relationship with masculinity in a way that is healthy and true to myself. As I walk this path, I seek to support others to find their own voice and authentic self-expression.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Contemporary evidence-based practices are powerful and can coexist with the world of traditional knowledge. I believe that there is more to people than the bundle of neurons between their ears. We are also heart, spirit, and body. My practice incorporates all of these elements.
