About My Clients
The everyday stressors of living in New York while struggling to find balance with careers, children, families, and friends can be overwhelming from time to time. Do you find yourself worrying more than usual, having difficulty sleeping, experience heart palpitations, irritability or just feeling on edge. You don't have to try and manage alone. You have already taken the first step towards improving your life simply by looking for help, something we all need from time to time.
My Background and Approach
As a trauma-informed clinician who has worked with children, adolescents, teens, couples, families, and adults, I understand the need to incorporate different modalities to treat the individual client and the importance of connecting and building a strong rapport between client and therapist. I take a holistic, strengths-based, and relational approach with my clients. I am a goal-oriented person and that is very present in my work as a therapist. I believe everyone deserves to be heard without judgment, no matter their age or circumstance. I appreciate you taking the first steps to seek support. Therapy is a journey and unpacking your pain and/or unhealthy habits will be a challenge. I will be present, providing guidance and support to lead you toward healing. I encourage clients to practice and implement skills outside of sessions. I am the passenger in your car, helping you get to your desired destination, but I do not drive the car!
