About My Clients
I have over 7 years of experience working as a mental health professional within public systems such as community mental health centers and public schools. Within these placements I have been exposed to a wide variety of populations and clinical presentations. I am experienced in, and enjoy working with, symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression and grief, addiction, major life transitions, relationship patterns, and experiences relating to LGBTQA+ and BIPOC communities.
My Background and Approach
I am an Expressive Arts Therapist, therefore imagery, movement, and sound are tools I use alongside talk-therapy to explore past the limitations of the mind, and into the intuitive wisdom of the body and imagination. I am also trained in facilitating yoga and meditation, which allows for the option of incorporating body-oriented techniques within sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is centered around helping people feel more connected to their inner and outer worlds, with a sense of belonging, trust, and empowerment. Together we tune in to what you feel is holding you back from the life you want, and how to move forward into that vision.
