About My Clients
Do you feel like you are buried in your fear, and you feel like you can barely breathe? Are you a neurodivergent individual who struggles with an overwhelming sense of shame and a tsunami of self-doubts? I love helping my neurodiverse clients and their families learn their strengths and new skills to help them embrace the life they want by their values.
My Background and Approach
My approach is a person-centered, strength-based, and culturally responsive approach. I often use CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing in my therapy practice. I also have 15+ years of working experience in public schools as a school psychologist. I practice a culturally responsive approach regarding where young people and their families come from. I am here to work collaboratively with you, roll with your fear and anxiety, and cheer you on to become the person you want to become.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my work, I am guided by the belief that children and families are brilliant and beautiful, and I aim to support and facilitate their transformative agency, particularly clients from diverse backgrounds. My practice focuses on culturally responsive practice. I believe our path to meeting the mental health needs of our young people and families lies in the context of their cultures.
