My Background and Approach
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with over seven years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, and relationship difficulties. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Carlos Albizu University. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s needs. I use evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This allows clients to build practical coping skills, improve communication, and feel more in control. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, develop confidence, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
