About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I have helped people successfully address a wide variety of concerns related to home and family, work and career, student-athlete balance, depression, anxiety, stress management, LGBTQIA, women's and self-esteem issues. I work from a person-centered approach, bringing in aspects of CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, ACT, and overall mindfulness. When you (or your child) works with me, you are the guide of this journey, and I follow along, hand-in-hand, every step of the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people are capable of change and I value the individuality we all can bring to our world. Through my own personal experiences as a Latina, bisexual woman, I have learned to approach life with an open-mindset and the willingness to keep learning. In my life and in my therapy practice, Black Lives Matter, Love is Love, No Person is Illegal, Science is Real, Women's Rights are Human Rights, and Kindness is Everything. I am social justice oriented and value advocacy. I am intentional in my efforts to be aware of any implicit biases and hold space for inclusive conversations.
