About My Clients
You’ve always pushed yourself to achieve, keep others happy, and meet high expectations—but deep down, it’s exhausting. You may feel stuck between who you are and who you were raised to be. Whether it’s perfectionism, people-pleasing, or cultural expectations, therapy can help you untangle these patterns and create a life that aligns with your true self—without guilt or fear of letting others down.
My Background and Approach
I take a thoughtful, psychodynamic approach that allows us to go beyond surface-level solutions and truly understand the "why" behind your struggles. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and experiences that have shaped you—helping you gain insight, self-awareness, and deeper change. With years of specialized training in psychodynamic therapy, intergenerational trauma, and cultural identity, I work with you to feel more at peace with yourself and your relationships. Whether you're navigating perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling caught between your personal values and cultural expectations, therapy can help you create space for self-discovery and growth. My approach to therapy is centered on healing your relationship with yourself—so the rest of your life can transform.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we always have a choice, even when it feels like we don’t. As an immigrant, I understand the difficulty of feeling caught between two cultures—trying to find what can be an impossible balance. As a board member of the Armenian American Mental Health Association, I’m dedicated to helping communities find meaning and strength through their adversity and cultural values. I believe if you know how to make good use of the mud, you can grow beautiful lotuses.
